Super Mario Odyssey!

Some sketches from last Friday that I decided to flesh out. So far, this is the simple version. I'm playing around with better atmospheric lighting and some background scenery for later. Hopefully things won't look so flat next time.

I am super excited for this game! By this point I'm pretty sure I've replayed that catchy theme song over fifty times.
Four months is too long a wait to become a T-Rex with a tiny mustache. And a Taxi. Oh man.
Though I can't help thinking about the dark implications of Mario's new powers.
I mean, he's basically stealing souls now. However, it does appear that he gives them back. That's nice.
Cappy probably just keeps a piece of each soul so he can regenerate into his true form and become the actual villain.
Nintendo really likes to change things up.
